Summary:
- Set up and operate CNC Machines and edit CNC programs.
- Applies general knowledge of machining techniques and methods, gaining assistance when faced with operating difficulties.
- Uses precision measuring instruments to confirm conformity to order.
- Candidates with experience programming the Multus, Doosan and LB4000 desired.
- Read and review customer order instructions and blueprint specifications.
- Secure necessary raw materials, fixtures, punches, tools, gauges, etc. for the job.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, making machine adjustments to produce required results.
- Perform own inspections (visual, optically, micrometer, verniers, indicator, etc.)
- Process parts as needed, including samples.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools common to the trade.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of processes, materials and results.
- Assure tools and machines are maintained in clean and proper condition for usage.
Qualifications:
- In depth knowledge of set up and operations of CNC Machines and editing CNC programs required.
- Knowledge of machining techniques with high degree of difficulties.
- Experience programming and operating the Multus is required.
- Knowledge of operation of a Doosan, Haas, Hardinge, Captain and LB4000 desired.
- The applicant must be able to work with deadlines and production schedules to assure a quality product is delivered on time to the customers.
- A High School diploma or its equivalency is required, technical school training, apprenticeship program.
- In addition, candidate must possess skill and knowledge in the set-up, adjustment and operation of machine shop equipment.

- Adherence to Quality Policy and Standard Operating Procedures and knowledge of those procedures will be a part of the daily process.
- Must be motivated, focused, and clear thinking.
