Location: Sun Valley, CA

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift or 2nd Shift

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training, machining certification, or completion of a CNC machining program preferred.
  • Additional manufacturing or precision machining coursework is a plus.

Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years of CNC machinist, CNC operator, or CNC setup experience preferred.
  • Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality control skills, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout an entire shift.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving materials, tools, and machine components as required.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise, metal chips, and industrial equipment.
  • Must have manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job Duties

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce high-quality precision parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production instructions to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Load raw materials, perform tool changes, adjust machine offsets, and make basic machine setup corrections as needed.
  • Inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments to verify quality and accuracy.
  • Monitor machine performance, identify production issues, and maintain compliance with quality standards and manufacturing requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all company safety procedures and best practices.
