CNC Machinist Programmer

Full Description

Responsibilities:

• Program CNC parts and plan machining operations.
• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Select tooling and adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain quality standards.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of machining experience.
• 2+ years of CNC milling experience.
• 1+ year of CNC programming experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of tooling, workholding, feeds, speeds, and shop mathematics.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to lift approximately 40 pounds.
• Must pass a federal background check.

Preferred Skills:

• Fusion 360 CAD/CAM and SolidWorks.
• Haas CNC controls.
• CNC turning and live-tool lathes.
• Job-shop, prototype, or low-volume machining experience.

• CNC Programming
• G-Code
• M-Code
• CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
• CAD/CAM Software

Machines & technologies you'll use:
