    Overview:

    IMMEDIATE HIRING NEED!!!

     

    We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the high-precision setup and operation of machining equipment to produce quality components. The ideal candidate blends technical manual expertise with an understanding of modern CNC controls.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Quality Inspection: Utilize precision measuring instruments—including calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges—to ensure all parts meet exact specifications.

    • Tooling Mastery: Demonstrate expert-level application of radius and angle gauges during the fabrication process.

    • Material Handling: Successfully obtain internal certification for the safe operation of overhead cranes and forklifts.

    • Maintenance Support: Partner with the maintenance team to identify and resolve mechanical issues or equipment malfunctions.

    • Technical Literacy: Interpret complex industrial blueprints with high accuracy, proactively identifying and correcting any drafting discrepancies.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Manual Proficiency: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience configuring and operating manual lathes and milling machines.

    • Setup Expertise: Proven ability to "sweep in" mill heads and vises and effectively manage runout on lathe workpieces.

    • Self-Sufficiency: Capability to execute job setups independently, even in the absence of formal documentation.

    • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of G/M code logic and the calculation of optimal speeds and feeds for various materials.

    • Preferred Assets: * Familiarity with broaching techniques.

      • Direct experience with Haas, Hurco, or Fanuc control systems.

      • Ability to perform basic G-code programming.
