CNC Machinist – Night Shift

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with 5 7 years of hands-on experience in CNC programming, machining, and production manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have experience machining complex aerospace components, operating multi-axis CNC equipment, and working with machining technologies such as DMG Mori, Mazak, and Doosan. Support manufacturing process development, validation, tooling improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives while coordinating with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Program and operate multi-axis CNC machining equipment to manufacture complex aerospace components.

• Operate CNC machines, including DMG Mori, Mazak, and Doosan equipment.

• Program and operate various machining equipment, including EDMs, lathes, and profile grinders.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, design records, and technical documentation.

• Identify tooling and fixturing deficiencies and recommend necessary improvements.

• Support manufacturing process development, validation activities, and change management.

• Review in-process validation steps and identify opportunities to improve machining cycle times.

• Implement process improvements using current machining technologies and industry best practices.

• Support tooling updates, operational improvements, and material cleanup initiatives.

• Coordinate project workflows with engineering, manufacturing, and management teams.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure manufacturing objectives are achieved.

Required Qualifications

• 5 7 years of experience in CNC machining and production manufacturing.

• Hands-on experience programming and operating multi-axis CNC machining centers.

• Experience machining complex aerospace components.

• Practical experience with DMG Mori, Mazak, and Doosan CNC equipment.

• Experience with EDM, lathes, and profile grinders.

• Knowledge of NX, Vericut, and CNC probing systems.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

• Working knowledge of AS9100 standards.

• Machinist certification, technical degree, or equivalent practical experience.

• Ability to execute assigned projects independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

• Proficiency in CAD, Creo, or Pro/ENGINEER.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
