Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform CNC job changeovers and load existing part programs.
  • Touch off tools and adjust offsets to maintain part quality.
  • Inspect tooling for wear or damage and replace it as needed.
  • Load, unload, and operate CNC machines.
  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, thread gauges, ring gauges, CMM equipment, and other measurement tools.
  • Interpret technical drawings and GD&T requirements to identify conforming and nonconforming parts.
  • Train and support CNC operators and coordinate with assembly personnel.
  • Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
  • Accurately record job time, good and rejected part counts, and production information in the ERP system.
  • Support changing production priorities and other assigned shop duties.

Needed
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2–3 years of CNC operator experience preferred.
  • Hands-on ability to perform changeovers, touch off tools, adjust offsets, and replace tooling.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand GD&T and metrology.
  • Experience using precision measurement equipment to inspect parts.
  • Strong shop math skills and accurate production counting and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability for 3rd shift, currently 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
  • U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident, per the client’s stated eligibility requirement for ITAR-related programs.
