Responsibilities
- Set up, troubleshooting and operate 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
- Interpret and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure product specifications are met.
- Conduct machine setups for production runs, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production flow and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including Fanuc and Matsuura brands, to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience setting up, troubleshooting and optimizing 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines for short and production jobs
- Proficiency in GD&T and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with Fanuc and Matsuura machines is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must have good hand to eye coordination and good dexterity
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must have senses of sight (not color blind) and hearing, for safety.
