Job Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machining equipment, including DMG Mori, Mazak, and Doosan machines.

• Operate various machining equipment, including EDMs, lathes, and profile grinders.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, design records, and technical specifications.

• Develop and update CNC programs to support production requirements and improve machining efficiency.

• Identify tooling and fixturing issues and recommend appropriate improvements.

• Support process development, validation activities, and manufacturing change management.

• Review existing machining processes and identify opportunities to reduce cycle time.

• Coordinate machining projects and workflow with engineering and manufacturing teams.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement updated machining processes.

• Ensure machining operations meet production schedules and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5 7 years of experience in CNC machining, programming, and production manufacturing.

• Hands-on experience operating multi-axis CNC machining centers.

• Experience with DMG Mori, Mazak, or Doosan CNC equipment.

• Proficiency in NX programming, Vericut, and CNC probing systems.

• Experience operating EDMs, lathes, and profile grinders.

• Knowledge of AS9100 standards and aerospace manufacturing processes.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Machinist certification, technical degree, or equivalent practical experience.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

• Experience with CAD, Creo, or Pro/E.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Background in aerospace and precision manufacturing.

Pay Scale
