CNC Machinist

## Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis, IN. You will be working with a variety of advanced CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce high-quality components for our production runs. ## Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills (3-4 axis and 5+ axis VMC) and CNC lathes (2-4 axis and 5+ axis).

• Program CNC machines using G-Code and M-Code to ensure precise machining of components.

• Perform equipment troubleshooting and repairs to maintain optimal machine performance.

• Conduct machine setups for production runs, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.

• Utilize GD&T for interpreting engineering drawings and ensuring accurate part production.

• Employ precision measurement and hand metrology techniques for quality assurance.

• Carry out advanced inspection and gauge measurement to verify part dimensions and tolerances.

• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance production efficiency.

  Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of CNC tooling and programming.

• Proficiency in using various CNC machines, including Fanuc, Bridgeport, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Makino, Brother, and Hurco.

• Solid knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming languages.

• Experience with GD&T and its application in machining processes.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform CNC machine repairs.

• Familiarity with precision measurement tools and techniques.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
