Responsible for setting up and operating CNC machining centers and CNC lathes to perform various functions, such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, and broaching of metallic and nonmetallic work pieces, utilizing knowledge of machine tool capabilities, machinability of materials, and shop math.
Essential Functions:
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of trade school, vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship.
- Knowledge of Mastercam, Fanuc Controls and AWC Pallet change systems.
Physical Demands:
- Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
- Exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
- Exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently.
- Exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Conditions are loud.
Additional requirements:
- Full time position consisting of 40-hours per week with work schedule generally being 2:15 to 10:45 OR 6:15 to 2:45 Monday – Friday. This position may require periodic overtime and weekend work during periods of high production and/or audit.
