Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX, 77017. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Experience of using Fanuc, Mazak, or Mazatrol controls.
- Program CNC machines using G-code and other relevant programming languages.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure parts meet required tolerances and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.
- Familiarity with various types of CNC machinery and tools (i.e. Mics, Calipers, and Gauges).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
