Responsibilities:
- Monitors machine operation and display readouts to detect malfunctions
- Compares display data to specifications and notifies supervisor of machine malfunctions
- Inspects and measures parts to verify conformance to specifications
- May perform machine adjustments and maintenance
- Adheres to facility and machine safety procedures, alerting manager of any safety concerns
Requirements:
* Understanding of material differences (e.g., aluminum, copper, titanium, steel)
* Ability to use handheld measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
* Can interpret simple prints
* Familiarity with basic tooling (end mills, drills, chamfer tools, spot drills)
