CNC Machinist

We are currently looking for CNC Machinists responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts for in-house production. Proven experience as a CNC lathe and Milling machinist with proficiency in setting up milling machines and lathes.

We are currently looking for CNC Machinists responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts for in-house production. This role requires attention to detail, technical skill, and a commitment to quality. The machinist works closely with team members to ensure all parts meet stringent standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up CNC lathes and Milling machines, and other machine equipment to produce precision parts
• Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to fabricate parts accurately.
• Utilize CAM programming (Mastercam) for CNC machines when necessary.
• Employ precision measuring instruments, such as bore gauges, micrometers and calipers, to verify dimensions of finished products.
• Maintain tooling and equipment in optimal working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Haas UMC-500SS 5-axis machining center, including simultaneous 5-axis machining 
• Experience working with automation systems such as robotic loading systems and pallet pools.
• Proven experience as a CNC lathe and Milling machinist with proficiency in setting up milling machines and lathes.
• Familiarity with CNC operations setup and operations is mandatory.
• Experience with CAM programming (MasterCAM) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of precision measuring instruments including bore gauges and micrometer.
• Knowledge of tooling techniques and materials used in machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Salary $27-$38 an hour based on experience

Shift multiple shifts available
2nd (2:30 pm to 11 pm Monday through Friday)(OT as needed)
1st (7 am to 330 pm Monday through Friday) (OT as needed)
1st (8 am to 430 pm Monday through Friday) (OT as needed)
