    Description

    CNC Machinist 
     

    Key Responsibilities

    The scope of duties expands with experience and capability.

    • Review drawings, specifications, and work instructions prior to machining.
    • Produce quality parts that meet all drawing and documented requirements.
    • Operate one or more CNC machines concurrently, as appropriate.
    • Use calibrated precision measuring instruments and gauges for in-process inspection.
    • Record labor time and quantities produced in Work Orders and ERP systems.
    • Maintain accurate and complete production documentation.
    • Deburr and clean parts using approved techniques.
    • Maintain clean, organized, and FOD-free work areas.
    • Report nonconforming material or questionable conditions.
    • Assist with machine maintenance as required.
    • Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and quality standards.
    • Demonstrate company values and contribute to a positive, respectful, and high-integrity workplace culture.
    • Promote teamwork and positive working relationships.
    • Suggest and support continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • May require additional hours beyond normal business hours.
    • Travel may be required for training, skill development, or business needs.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
    • Mathematical proficiency for machining calculations.
    • English language proficiency.
    • Strong attention to detail and accountability.
    • Compliance with company, customer, and regulatory safety and quality standards.
    • Flexibility to support business needs outside normal hours.
    • Travel as required for training or business purposes.
    • Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods, up to 8–10 hours per shift, with limited sitting time.
