    Description

    Job Description:

    We have 1st shift positions available running CNC Mills and Lathes. The rate of pay is based on prior work experience and schooling. Shift hours are between 6:45 a.m. 3:15 p.m.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan each days machining by studying blueprints, engineering plans, and materials.
    • Complete multiple setups daily as our parts are custom-made.
    • Analyze information and find the best solutions to problems.
    • Program CNC mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points.
    • Read and edit G-Code.
    • Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations.
    • Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to ensure safe operations.
    • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
    • Ensure continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions in our internal electronic system.
    • Confer with engineers, production, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Ability to operate and program CNC mills or lathes.
    • Proficient computer and technical skills.
    • Can read blueprints.
    • Detail-oriented.
    • Team player.
    • Self-starter.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience operating CNC mills and lathes in a production environment.

    Physical Demands:

    • Regularly required to stand and walk.
    • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
    • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
    • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

    Work Environment:

    • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
    • Moderate noise level in the work environment.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Ability to pass a competency test, pre-employment drug test, and background check.
