CNC Machinist (3rd Shift)

About The Role

Join our client, a precision manufacturer, as a key contributor to their team. You'll set up and operate CNC machines to produce intricate tooling components. Your expertise ensures quality and efficiency in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machine tools for complex parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Review programs offline and perform metrology inspections.
• Troubleshoot issues and monitor multiple machines for efficiency.
• Collaborate with minimal supervision to meet quality and production targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (technical certificate preferred).
• 3 years of experience in precision CNC machining, including mills and lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and CNC G-Code (Fanuc, Siemens, or similar controls preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Two-year technical degree, journeyman’s card, or equivalent military technical experience preferred.
• CAD/CAM and advanced G-Code programming knowledge preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Stand/walk for extended periods.

Work Environment

• Availability to work off-shift schedules.
