CNC Machinist- 2nd Shift

CNC Machinist (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Spring, TX 77373 2nd Shift: 4pm-1am M-F regular schedule- must be able to train on days for 2 weeks (5am-3:30pm) Currently they are working 6/12 due to demand (4pm- 4am M-Sat) Pay: $20-$28 with $1 shift differential       Job Description: Reads blueprint or job order for product and job specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, number of parts to be run, tooling instructions or other written. Sets up machine, observes operation, and inspects first run and sample work pieces to ensure machining conforms to specifications.

• Reads blueprint or job order for product and job specifications such as dimensions,
• tolerances, number of parts to be run, tooling instructions or other written
• specifications.
• Sets up machine, observes operation, and inspects first run and sample work pieces to ensure machining conforms to specifications.
• Determines processing specifications such as materials, location of cutting lines, dimensions, tolerances, and operational sequences.
• Examines finished work pieces and verifies conformance to quality standards
• Mark identification material before or after processing, store material for additional processing, and/or shipping
• Accurately completes work order paperwork/documentation
• Performs routine and preventative machine maintenance and inspections as
• required
• Assists other machine operators to set up machine, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces.
• Ability to perform program editing (speed, feed tools, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with Fanuc 18i control, Okuma, OSP, and Mazak

Requirements:

• 1-2 years CNC experience
• Basic math skills
• Must pass background and drug screen
• Must have steel toes, metatarsal guards, and safety glasses
