Description
CNC Machinists - 2nd & 3rd Shift (Multiple Openings)
Location: Fully Onsite in Greenville, SC
Type: Direct Hire
Type: Direct Hire
Shifts Available:
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 Midnight
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Salary: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Plus Excellent Benefits

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate EDM/CNC machines and other related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.
- Make all edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work orders, blueprint specifications, and sketches.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of feeds and speeds, cutting tools, and their applications.
- Inspect work as required for all dimensional features.
- Produce quality and quantity of work in accordance with company requirements.
- Accurately complete paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, and production reporting.
- Perform duties while always exercising good machining practices.
- Maintain area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition, including operator maintenance sheets.
- Train, guide, and assist other employees as required.
- Take a proactive approach to solving process or system-related problems and coordinate with team members and departments when necessary.
- Comply with OSHA, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Carry out additional tasks within the scope and skill level of the position to support department objectives and individual development.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment required.
- Experience with EDM, Makino Fast Hole, or aerospace manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Candidates with strong machining fundamentals and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated self-starter.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Manufacturing ERP systems, preferably JobBOSS.
