CNC Machining Technician – Precision Metals
Location: Onsite, Hillsboro, OR
A day in this role
You clock in at our Hillsboro facility, review the traveler packet, and compare it with the blueprint for the first job. You load the CNC program, make a small edit to optimize a toolpath, then set tooling and dial in work and tool offsets. After the first piece runs, you verify every critical feature with calipers, micrometers, indicators, machinist scales, and a tape measure. Parts are washed and deburred before moving to the next step. Between runs, you keep machines tidy, top off coolant tanks, and, when needed, jump over to the saw area or a manual drill press to support the flow. Throughout the shift, safety, accuracy, and pace guide every decision.
