CNC Machining Millwright & Laser Tracker Technician

Picture this: you arrive at a facility near the launch sites of Cape Canaveral, FL. A critical assembly needs micron-level precision. You open the model, apply your GD&T expertise, verify datums with a laser tracker in Verisurf, and then move to the machines—CNC lathe humming, manual mill ready—bringing the plan to life. Your mission

• Turn drawings, blueprints, and both verbal and written instructions into accurate machining operations
• Set up, operate, and prove out CNC lathe programs; run manual mills/lathes and other shop equipment
• Program and machine high-precision, quick-turn, and recurring production work with unwavering detail
• Integrate process monitoring to precisely locate welding and machining details
• Uphold client procedures, processes, and safety culture while partnering across multiple teams

What sets you up for success

• Advanced GD&T skills to interpret blueprints at every assembly level
• Experience capturing geometric data using a laser tracker with model-based software such as Verisurf
• Growth mindset, eagerness to learn, and a strong work ethic

Compensation and perks

• Pay up to $34–$41/hour
• Per diem available for non-local technicians
• Weekly pay via direct deposit, health benefits, 401(k), and more
