CNC Machine Operator

The Machine Operator with a minimum of 6 months of CNC laser setup/operator experience is responsible for operating and setting up laser cutting equipment, coordinating CNC workloads, and ensuring quality, on-time production. Machine Operator – 1st Shift
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $17.00+/hr (Based on Experience)
Location: Spring Valley, IL

Job Summary:
The Machine Operator with a minimum of 6 months of CNC laser setup/operator experience is responsible for operating and setting up laser cutting equipment, coordinating CNC workloads, and ensuring quality, on-time production. This role supports fabrication operations while maintaining safety and equipment standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate CNC workload to meet production schedules
  
• 
  Perform laser cutting and fabrication support tasks
  
• 
  Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
  
• 
  Accurately complete production documentation
  
• 
  Use electrical and manual tools as required
  
• 
  Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures
  

Requirements:

• 
  High School Diploma or GED
  
• 
  Forklift operation experience
  
• 
  Ability to read blueprints and prints
  
• 
  Basic shop math skills
  
• 
  Ability to read micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
  
• 
  1 year+ CNC experience required
