CNC Machinist - Mill/Lathe
Location: Catoosa, OK
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour (DOE)
Shifts Available: Day Shift & Night Shift
HireCall is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for a leading manufacturing company in Catoosa, OK. If you have experience setting up and operating CNC mills or lathes and take pride in producing high-quality precision parts, we want to hear from you.
Our client operates a modern machine shop with equipment including:
- HWACHEON CNC Machines
- Haas VF-5 & VF-7 Machining Centers
- Mori Seiki CNC Machines
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing team that values quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components.
- Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot machining issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, routers, and bills of material.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
- Use precision measuring instruments including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Depth micrometers
- Drop indicators
- Pin gauges
- Thread gauges
- Functional gauges
- Identify and report nonconforming parts.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Record scrap and rework accurately.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Report equipment maintenance needs and production issues promptly.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathes required.
- Machine setup experience preferred.
- Experience with Haas, Mori Seiki, HWACHEON, or similar CNC equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of precision measuring equipment.
- CMM or Optical Comparator experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable with a positive team-oriented attitude.
