Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Location: Burlington, NC
Shift: 2nd M-Th 4:30pm-1:00am; Fri 2:30pm-11pm
Pay: $19-$22
- Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture metal components according to specifications and production schedules.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and job travelers.
- Load raw materials and unload finished parts from CNC equipment.
- Measure and inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Monitor machine operations and make offsets or adjustments to maintain quality standards.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Change tooling, inserts, and fixtures as required for production runs.
- Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and report maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Follow established safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and operational.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and parts.
- Assist with material handling, inventory control, and movement of parts throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams to meet customer requirements and production goals.
