CNC Machine Operator

This hands-on role is responsible for operating and programming CNC equipment, inspecting finished parts, making necessary machine offsets, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate has CNC experience and is comfortable using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join a local team. This hands-on role is responsible for operating and programming CNC equipment, inspecting finished parts, making necessary machine offsets, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate has CNC experience and is comfortable using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.

Job Summary

• Operate and program CNC machines, including Puma GT 2600, Doosan, and HAAS equipment
• Set and adjust machine offsets as needed to maintain accurate part dimensions
• Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and verify they meet specifications
• Read and understand machine parameters and calibration requirements
• Sand and deburr finished parts
• Remove and properly dispose of metal shavings
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience Required

• 1 year of CNC machining experience preferred
• Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to make machine adjustments and offsets based on measurements
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and other precision measuring tools

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret measurements, machine parameters, and specifications
• Comfortable using buttons and controls for machine calibration
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to identify when a part is out of specification and make appropriate adjustments
• Safety-conscious and dependable
• Willingness to perform hands-on tasks such as sanding and deburring
• Ability to keep work areas clean and organized

Location: Bloomington, IN

Pay: $20.00/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
