Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Location: Baxter Springs, KS
Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm–1:00am
Summary of the Role:
The CNC Machine Operator will work in a waterjet manufacturing facility, operating and monitoring CNC machinery to cut materials
according to production specifications. This position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain quality
and accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates with previous CNC or waterjet experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor CNC waterjet cutting machinery.
- Set up materials and prepare machines for production runs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
- Monitor cutting operations to ensure accuracy and product quality.
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain production standards.
- Inspect finished parts and verify dimensions against specifications.
- Identify and report equipment issues or quality concerns.
- Safely load, unload, and position materials for cutting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all machine operating procedures and workplace safety requirements.
- Perform additional production duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred.
- Waterjet cutting experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong measurement skills and attention to detail.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and materials.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
Compensation:$21.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
