CNC Lathe Operator

In this role, you support production by setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) equipment and confirming that finished workpieces meet required specifications. You help maintain productive workflow by conducting basic machine maintenance, performing precision measurements, and reporting issues that may affect quality or output.

Responsibilities

• Performs light machine maintenance, including cleaning exterior surfaces and removing chips and dust from inside the machine, and adds oil and fluids as required.
• Measures dimensions of finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Reports machining defects or dimensional nonconformance to the department lead immediately.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as an operator or technician.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
