Job Summary
HireCall is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join a manufacturing team in Broken Arrow. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, reading blueprints, making offsets, and inspecting finished parts.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
- Read blueprints and understand tolerances
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other standard measuring tools
- Make tool wear and work offsets as needed
- Change inserts and perform basic tooling changes
- Monitor part quality and make corrections when dimensions begin to move
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- Communicate machine, tooling, or quality issues as they arise
Requirements
- Previous CNC lathe experience
- Experience with Fanuc controls
- Ability to make offsets without direct supervision
- Ability to inspect your own parts
- Basic understanding of tooling and common machining problems
- Dependable and comfortable working with limited support on night shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred, but not required: Setup experience and the ability to make minor program edits.
