We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist with hands-on setup and operating experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with Haas and Okuma CNC Lathes, blueprint reading, tooling changes, program adjustments, and precision inspection.
This position will primarily operate a Haas and Okuma CNC Lathe** manufacturing custom fasteners, studs, threaded components, and precision machined parts for the oil & gas and industrial industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes
- Work with Haas and Okuma CNC controls
- Make tooling, offset, and program adjustments
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of CNC Lathe setup and operating experience
- Haas and Okuma CNC Lathe experience required
- Ability to read and make basic G-code/program adjustments
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- CNC programming/editing experience preferred
- Mastercam experience is a plus
