    CNC Lathe Machinist - Bourne, MA - 
    Ability to produce precision machined parts in stainless steels, aluminum, titanium and plastics by setting up & running large capacity horizontal CNC lathe machines.

    • Physical dexterity and stamina may be needed for production floor duties.

    Responsibilities:
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company and industry standards.
    • Setup & operate CNC lathes based on work orders & blueprints.
    • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code/CAM programs to understand specifications and instructions.
    • Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
    • Monitor machine operations and make real-time adjustments to ensure quality output and meet production goals.
    • Measure and inspect finished parts using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
    • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
    • Document production data and report nonconformities in output.
    • Collaborate with quality inspectors and supervisors to support process improvement, and production deadlines.
