Pay: $25–$36/hr depending on experience
Overtime: 5–15 hours/week (optional)
Employment: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
A week in this role
Monday morning, you receive your weekly schedule and head straight to your first customer—one of 2–3 sites you’ll typically visit each week. You might start by assisting a senior engineer with commissioning a new CNC laser system, walk the line with maintenance to perform preventative checks, then close the day by documenting work performed and briefing the customer on next steps. Midweek, you could diagnose a motor drive issue or trace a sensor fault across controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics. By Friday afternoon, you’re wrapping up an install, updating service notes, and heading home for the weekend.
