Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 after 90 days, based on performance and attendance

Overview

The CNC I Operator is responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to cut, shape, and form metal workpieces according to precise specifications. This position supports production schedules while maintaining quality, accuracy, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and blueprints to determine machining requirements and sequences.
• Operate CNC machinery according to established procedures and production requirements.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure dimensions meet blueprint and specification requirements.
• Use micrometers, calipers, functional gauges, and other measuring equipment to verify accuracy.
• Monitor machine operations for malfunctions, worn tools, or other production issues.
• Troubleshoot basic production difficulties and report concerns to the CNC Specialist or Production Supervisor.
• Work efficiently to meet established production schedules and productivity expectations.
• Maintain required production documentation, including production logs and scrap tickets.
• Notify the CNC Specialist or Supervisor when jobs are completed or when discrepancies are identified.
