In this role, you'll set up, program, and operate CNC grinding equipment to manufacture precision parts that meet exact customer specifications. If you enjoy working with blueprints, precision measuring tools, and high-quality manufacturing processes, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Set up, program, and operate CNC grinding machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Write and edit CNC programs using G-Code, Mastercam, or manufacturer-specific programming
• Select the proper grinding wheels, tooling, and fixtures for each job
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment including:
  • Micrometers
  • Calipers
  • Comparators
  • CMM equipment
  • Additional inspection tools
• Verify all parts meet blueprint specifications and quality standards
• Complete required production documentation including SPC charts, inspection reports, route sheets, and quality records
• Monitor production flow, quality, and machine performance throughout each job
• Assist operators and trainees with machine setup, troubleshooting, and best practices
• Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Experience operating or setting up CNC grinding machines or other CNC machining equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of grinding processes, tooling selection, and machining operations
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Familiarity with G-Code, Mastercam, or CNC programming is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to workplace safety

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous CNC machining, CNC grinding, manufacturing, or precision machining experience preferred

• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
• Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Maintain close attention to detail while operating machinery and inspecting finished products

• Competitive starting pay of $18.00/hour or higher based on experience
