Description
Job Duties:
Conduct field service at customer facilities, ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of CNC tool & cutter grinding machines.
Provide comprehensive support to customers onsite, by phone, and via email, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues promptly and effectively.
Expect up to 80% travel within the USA, Canada, and Mexico to support customer needs.
Ideal Candidates:
Technical field service experience with CNC grinding machinery, encompassing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.
Proficiency in troubleshooting machine problems both on-site and remotely, including answering customer inquiries regarding maintenance, mechanical/electrical drawings, and part identification.
Experience with the installation of CNC grinding machines at customer facilities.
"Hands-on" individual with a strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to interpret and comprehend electrical, mechanical, and other technical drawings.
Basic knowledge of electrical and fluid power circuits is preferred.
