Local Production Company / CNC Estimator/Production Planner

• Quoting & Estimation: Analyze customer blueprints, 3D models (STEP/IGS), and specifications to provide accurate quotes for materials, labor, tooling, and outside services.
• Process Planning: Develop comprehensive manufacturing routings and sequences of operations
• Technical Review: Identify potential manufacturing challenges and provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback to customers to reduce costs and lead times.
• System Management: Utilize Info Visual to enter quotes and transition won jobs to the production team.

• Fast-Paced Collaboration: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, managing multiple quoting / planning deadlines simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Adaptability: Comfortable pivoting between technical blueprint analysis and collaborative problem-solving with machinists and shop leads.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate between sales, production, and external vendors under tight delivery schedules.
• Pressure Management: Ability to remain organized and productive during "peak" quoting periods or when production schedules shift unexpectedly

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in a CNC machining environment (Mill and Lathe). At least 2 years specifically in quoting or process planning.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in GD&T and the ability to read complex aerospace, medical, or industrial blueprints.
• Software: Strong experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Esprit, SolidWorks) and ERP systems. 
• Materials Knowledge: Deep understanding of machining speeds/feeds for multiple materials. 
• Education: High School Diploma required
