CNC Carbide Tooling Operator, Grinding Cell

Imagine joining a team that has spent 100+ years building 100,000+ products from the ultra-strong metals tungsten and molybdenum. With 11,000 colleagues worldwide, we’re looking for a CNC Carbide Tooling Operator to strengthen our Rancho Cordova, CA grinding cell. This is a full-time, on-site role.

What will your impact be?

From the moment you review a technical print to the instant a finished carbide tool leaves your machine, your craftsmanship sets the standard. You’ll operate a CNC grinder—no G-code knowledge necessary—balance priorities against the production schedule, and keep safety and organization front and center.

Core responsibilities

• Produce tungsten carbide high-performance cutting tools using technical drawings/specs
• Operate and monitor CNC grinding equipment (G-code programming not required)
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet schedule commitments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation

Are you a match?

• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging environments
• Ownership mindset; collaborates well and works independently when needed
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for an 8-hour shift
• Comfortable with shop math
