Eden Senior Care, founded in 2016, is a growing Healthcare Management company, focused on managing and operating Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation and Assisted Living communities in Minnesota, Ohio Wisconsin. Our mission with each community is to support their success by providing strong leadership, corporate support, and the resources and tools to realize their goals. Eden promotes and encourages the success of each of its employees and values the individual experience of its guests and their families.

Are you passionate about helping others and ready for a rewarding career in healthcare? Edenbrook Sheboygan is offering a FREE CNA Training Program — your chance to become a Certified Nursing Assistant with no upfront costs and no student debt.

Classes start the week after July 4th. Spots are limited and offered first come, first served, so apply early

How the Program Works:

  • The training is completely free — no tuition, no student debt.
  • Part-time work may be available to some students during the class. Activity Aide and Housekeeping positions will be offered, but spaces are limited and filled first come, first served.
  • We may also have Hospitality Aide hours available in 4-hour shift increments, depending on our census at the time.
  • Completing the program is your pathway to a CNA position at Edenbrook Sheboygan. We invest in this training because we’re looking for people who want to build their career with us, and we expect graduates to join our team as a CNA after finishing the class.

What You’ll Do as a CNA:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you’ll provide hands-on, compassionate care that helps each guest live with dignity and reach their highest level of well-being. Day to day, you will:

  • Provide quality, individualized care in a nurturing environment that supports each guest’s physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Support guests with incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, and communication.
  • Protect skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers and skin tears by repositioning immobile guests, changing incontinent guests, and applying moisturizers as needed.
  • Perform tasks assigned by the floor nurse, such as checking vital signs, weighing guests, applying creams and ointments, and collecting specimens.
  • Know and support each guest’s individual care plan, sharing observations about needs, preferences, and behavioral changes with supervisors.
  • Assist the Wound Care Nurse as directed.
  • Complete medical records accurately and in line with nursing policies, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Follow established infection control, standard precaution, and safety practices when providing care and using equipment.
  • Report hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, and supply issues to the supervisor.
  • Answer call lights promptly and courteously.
  • Assist with new admissions, re-admissions, and room transfers within the facility.
  • Communicate effectively and tactfully with guests, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
  • Attend and participate in departmental meetings and in-services.

What We’re Looking For:

  • You enjoy working with people and meet everyday challenges with a positive attitude.
  • You communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
  • You’re committed to treating residents, families, and fellow staff with professionalism and care.
  • Experience in healthcare is a plus, but a genuine interest in a healthcare career matters most.
