Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Valid CNA certification required
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS certification, PCT/ER registration experience, LTC experience
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years hospital experience, familiarity with small-town ER or floating between departments
  • Other Requirements: Professional demeanor, ability to work independently, team-oriented, willingness to follow facility protocols strictly

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main ER registration person, checking patients in, registering them, obtaining vital signs, and assisting nurses.
  • Assist on the floor by passing trays, preparing patients for meals, and responding to patient needs when ER is less busy.
  • Relieve other CNAs for lunch and help with patient care tasks as needed throughout the shift.
  • Follow facility protocols and procedures strictly to ensure safety and compliance at all times.
  • Maintain a professional and team-oriented approach, adapting quickly to changing priorities and patient needs.
