CNA - Part Time | Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital (1923)

Job Purpose:

• The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing essential care and support to patients in a part-time capacity. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment in accordance with the center's standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Support the nursing staff in implementing care plans and reporting any changes in patient conditions.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort by maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Respond promptly to patient calls and requests, providing compassionate and attentive care.
• Assist with the transportation of patients within the facility as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge related to patient care.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing patient care and facility operations.
