As a CNA you will:  

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and engaging environment. 
• Facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities. 
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols. 
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care. 

If you are NOT a CNA, no worries! WesleyLife and Wesley on Grand is prepared to help those interested in obtaining their CNA certification! 

For the right individuals, this role is hired as a Hospitality Assistant and designed as a clear pathway into a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) career.

Upon hire, team members will attend a WesleyLife-paid CNA training program offered through one of our external partners. Once certified, you’ll transition into a CNA in our Enhanced Living unit. 

*This is an ideal opportunity to start a healthcare career—no prior experience required—while getting paid to train.

Open Shifts Available: 

• Day Shift: (6am-2:30 pm) PT
• PRN

Qualifications: 

• State of Iowa active CNA License (Preferred but not required*)
• 1 year experience in LTC or RCF (preferred but not required)

*If you are already a certified CNA (75 hr course) but have not completed your state testing, we are able to help you complete your requirements to obtain your licensure.
