Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitors patient conditions, and helps maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment while delivering compassionate care.

Job Responsibilities

Helps patients or clients with healthcare needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
Provides direct and indirect resident care under the direction of RN or LVN. Assists residents with daily living and activities.
Provides personal care, comfort, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for facility residents
Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully, and respectfully with residents, staff, and the general public.

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 1 year of CNA experience
Basic computer skills required.
