Lutheran Life Villages has industry leading pay for nursing professionals with CNA pay starting from $18.50 an hour.

Part-time: 1st shift
Full-time: 2nd shift
Every other weekend required for all nursing staff (Saturday & Sunday)

CNA Job Qualifications

Education/Training:

1. Satisfactory completion of the approved Indiana State Board of Health, 105 Hour Nurse Aide Training Program or equivalent. Certification for Nurse Aide must be active and in good standing with the Registry and must be maintained in accordance with ISDH requirements.

Experience:

1. One year experience in a long-term care facility or health care setting preferred.
2. Memory care experience highly preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
2. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures.
3. Strong communication skills.
4. Understanding of the needs and concerns of the elderly with the ability to patiently handle various resident behaviors.
5. Basic computer experience preferred.
