This role is ideal for a Licensed Practical Nurse who is passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of certified nursing assistants. As a CNA Instructor, you will play a vital role in training students to provide high-quality care to seniors in our community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging instructional content to CNA students following approved curriculum guidelines.
- Teach both theoretical and practical nursing skills to prepare students for certification and real-world patient care.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical examinations, and feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations related to CNA training.
- Collaborate with company leadership to continuously improve training methods and materials.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid license in the state of Georgia.
- Previous experience as a CNA Instructor or in a similar teaching/training role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CNA duties, patient care standards, and nursing best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to succeed.
