Summary

Are you passionate about providing compassionate, hands-on patient care? We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse to support patients' personal care, comfort, and safety while contributing to a positive healing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care while respecting each patient's dignity, individuality, and personal preferences.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, skin care, and toileting.
• Obtain and document vital signs and collect specimens as directed.
• Assist with patient transportation and other nursing support activities.
• Perform delegated nursing tasks such as applying non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, and heat treatments.
• Accurately document patient care and observations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
• Restock supplies and support unit readiness.
• Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests.
• Communicate patient observations and concerns to the nursing team.
• Promote patient comfort through proactive rounding and attentive care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and empathy in all interactions.

Qualifications Required

• Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program.
• Current Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification in accordance with organizational policy.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
