Position Title: CMM Inspector / Quality Inspector
Pay: $30$37/hour (DOE)
Location: Canton, GA
Position Summary:
We are seeking a CMM Inspector / Quality Inspector to perform precision dimensional inspections of composite parts, machined components, and tooling. This position will utilize CMMs, FARO Arms, PolyWorks, and other metrology equipment to verify parts meet engineering drawings, CAD models, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform dimensional inspections of in-process and finished products
- Program and operate CMM and metrology equipment
- Use PolyWorks for dimensional inspection and analysis
- Verify parts against CAD models, drawings, and GD&T requirements
- Identify and document dimensional deviations and nonconformances
- Prepare inspection and first article reports
- Maintain inspection and calibration documentation
Requirements:- 2+ years of quality inspection or metrology experience
- CMM programming and operating experience
- Experience with PolyWorks
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
- Experience with FARO Arms, laser trackers, Creaform, CMMs, or similar equipment
- Strong dimensional inspection and measurement skills
- Experience creating inspection reports
Preferred Qualifications:- Aerospace or composite manufacturing experience
- Experience in an AS9100 or NADCAP environment
- Experience with AS9102 first article inspections
- Creaform system experience
- Instron or physical materials testing experience
