CMM Operator

Job Description
- Conduct detailed dimensional inspections using CMM and precision tools
- Verify part geometry, hole locations, and tolerances against blueprints
- Develop, edit, and maintain CMM programs for production and inspection
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain traceability records
- Investigate measurement discrepancies and resolve inspection issues
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards
- Support engineering and production teams on part conformance
- Maintain adherence to QMS (ISO 9001) and safety protocols
- Assist in training team members on CMM operation and inspection practices
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work environments

The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of hands-on CMM operation experience
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T expertise
- Experience with dimensional inspection, layout, and metrology tools
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems and inspection standards
- Ability to troubleshoot measurement and inspection discrepancies
- Working knowledge of SPC, MSA, and manufacturing processes (preferred)
- Strong math skills and understanding of shop calculations
- Proficiency with inspection software and basic computer systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
