    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Build
      • Attend Kickoff meeting (Kickoff process)
      • Analyze machine qualification data (Ppk)
      • Discuss machine qualification results
      • Document machine qualification issues and solutions
      • Support correction of machine qualification issues and solutions
      • Input machine geometry data
      • Lead machine qualification
    • Installation
      • Support analysis of customer machine qualification data
      • Pre-Acceptance
      • Measure, evaluate and report noise readings
      • Evaluate statistical runoff and troubleshoot machining process problems
      • Create statistical runoff summaries – Corrective Action Report
      • Create Gage and CMM GR&R & correlation reports

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Management and coordination of department personnel.
    • Holding staff accountable to project schedules and deadlines.
    • Provide performance feedback and conduct evaluations with staff.
    • Review and approve time sheets and expense reports
    • Training
    • Interviewing and hiring new employees
    • Conduct department orientation
    • Conduct 90-day review with new employees
    • Conduct annual performance review with employees
    • Identify training/development needs (Training Requests) and maintain
    • Determine sources for training
    • Approve outside training
    • Create experiential development assignments

    Process Owner Responsibilities:

    • Pre-Acceptance

    Education and Experience:

    • Minimum 4 year technical degree preferred
    • Minimum 10 years automotive and machine tool experience in lieu of degree

    Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Hard Skills
      • Human resource rules
      • Microsoft Office Product application capability (specifically Word, Excel, and Power point)
      • Thorough understanding of HUS processes referenced above.
      • Knowledgeable of MIOSHA regulations.
    • Soft Skills
      • Strong planning and project management skills
      • Leadership of installation project team (clarify goals, prioritize tasks, coordinate resources, resolve issues)
      • Effective time management
      • Effective communication with customer, design suppliers, ancillary equipment suppliers, project manager and employees
      • Must be able to effectively communicate technical information

    Training Requirements:

    • General Safety
    • ISO 9001 Quality System Awareness

    Physical Demands:

    • Some physical exertion required.
    • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility.

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    • Safety glasses may be required while performing specific tasks.

    Work Environment:

    • Works in an office environment with regular exposure to HUS and customer plants.
    • May require travel, including internationally.

     

    Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
