Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for precision measurement and quality assurance in aerospace manufacturing? We are seeking a highly skilled CMM Operator/Programmer and Parts Inspector A to play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of complex aerospace components. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in a dynamic environment with potential for direct hire.

In this role, you will perform detailed inspections, operate sophisticated Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), develop inspection routines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest quality standards. Your skills will directly contribute to the production of critical aerospace propulsion parts and assemblies.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience operating and programming CMM equipment, particularly Zeiss Calypso software
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and inspection procedures
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and interpreting specifications
  • Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and develop new inspection routines
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations
  • Capable of working in various physical environments, including outdoor and indoor settings
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment such as hoists and cranes
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork orientation

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience with inspection of aerospace propulsion components
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Additional certifications related to quality or aerospace manufacturing

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma required; Technical certification or Trade School coursework is a plus
  • 3-5 years of relevant direct experience in CMM inspection and programming

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and operate material handling devices safely
  • Willingness to work varying shifts and hours, including travel as needed
  • Pre-employment medical screening (reimbursed)
  • U.S. citizenship required; no dual citizenship accepted
  • Ability to work in environments with variable noise levels and wear safety equipment
