Job Title: CMM Operator

Location: Miramar, FL

Job Description

Program complex aerospace parts utilizing advanced PCDMIS methods. This Operating / Programming process entails programming offline to a CAD model, debug on CMM, perform repeat study, perform independent validation and implement into shop. The ability to read complex drawings, interpret GD&T and build the program utilizing the CAD model is required.

Familiar with PCDMIS version 2021 or newer

Min 5 years of PCDMIS programming experience, or 2 years of PCDMIS experience along with 5 years of other CMM language.

Has used PCDMIS extensively within a year

Program offline utilizing CAD models

Able to program iterative alignments

Able to program 6-point target point alignments

Touch scanning experience

Strong GD&T skills, with strong focus on true position, runout, surface profile

Desired Skills

• Safely operate machinery and lifting fixtures
• Load Parts & Probes
• Aerospace background (familiarity with tight tolerance applications and complex geometries / set-up)
• Familiarity with Brown & Sharpe CMM's.
• Read and write text files from PCDMIS
• 2D Modeling and 3D experience would be helpful
• Knowledgeable with variables
• CAD experience, NX preferred
