We are currently seeking an experienced CMM Operator for a contract opportunity supporting a precision manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CMM equipment to perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections.

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Core Hours: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: May be required and could be mandatory depending on business needs
Assignment: Contract only at this time (9 +/- months)
Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR facility requirements
What You Will Do
Set up, program, and operate CMM equipment for first-article, in-process, and final inspections.
Create, modify, and troubleshoot CMM programs, including systems such as Calypso.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, models, and GD&T.
Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gages, optical comparators, and other precision measuring instruments.
Document inspection results and generate reports for quality records, FAIRs, and customer submissions.
Identify nonconforming material and communicate findings to Engineering, Production, and Quality.
Support root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
Maintain calibration of inspection equipment.
Follow established safety procedures, standard work, and quality-system requirements.
Assist with training operators and inspectors on blueprint reading and measurement techniques.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ year of CMM programming experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR facility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or precision machining.
Experience with FAIRs, PPAPs, AS9100, and/or ISO 9001.
Experience with Calypso CMM software.
Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
Experience using precision inspection equipment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
