    Job Summary

    The Inspector (CMM) at Triumph Geared Solutions - Macomb is responsible for performing in process and final inspections on machined parts, assemblies, and or sub-assemblies in the Quality Department. The Inspector (CMM) must be able to perform First Article Inspections according to Triumph Geared Solutions quality department work instruction.

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Perform in process and final inspection on machined parts, and/or sub-assemblies.
    • Complete inspections to engineering requirements.
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer blueprints.
    • Use micrometers and calipers to perform First Article Inspections.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
    • Minimum Experience 2 Years CMM Inspection
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
    • Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft products and excel.
    • Outstanding punctuality and attendance.
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

    Physical Requirements

    • Good hand-eye coordination.
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
    • Able to stand for long periods of time.
    • Ability to use hand tools.
